Howard is the strategic and visionary leader of LifeWIRE which he invented and developed as a patented population management communication platform that humanizes digital communication through personalized, responsive interactions between parties such as health care providers and patients.
A Schulich MBA with over two decades of experience as a film & television producer, Howard had a unique perspective from which to approach the issue of adherence and patient engagement from which LifeWIRE evolved.
Over the past 10 years, Howard has parlayed that experience as an health thought leader having been named one of the top 100 Innovators of the Next Century (Rockefeller Foundation) and one of the Top 30 mHealth Innovators by the mHealth Alliance (United Nations Foundation). Howard has authored a number of articles, written policy guidance for the sector on behalf of the Province of Ontario, regularly speaks on health innovation at national & international symposiums, an industry reviewer for the U.S. department of Health and Human Services, he has addressed Capitol Hill subcommittee’s on the subject he is a member of the HIMSS North American Public Policy Committee and President-Elect of the HIMSS Chapter (Ontario)
Howard holds 6 patents (with 2 pending) relating to mobile health management speaks regularly at graduate schools at leading Universities and conferences discussing innovation, Health IT, analytics, as well as his work with active duty military, veterans, and mental health issues such as Post Traumatic Stress, Substance Use and High Rick suicide, and now COVID products.
