Caroline studied Biological and Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Essex, attained a PhD from Nottingham University School of Pharmacy, studying biologically active compounds from fungi, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC). She started her career by establishing and managing the in vitro ADME, PK and bioanalysis laboratories for Evotec UK. Caroline was the program lead for the neurotrophic factor modulator programs for Phytopharm plc, leading programs in Parkinson’s disease, ALS and glaucoma. More recently, Caroline worked for Ono Pharma’s London office, leading clinical programs in glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, heart failure and hematology. Caroline joined Otsuka in 2018; she works in Global Clinical Development on pediatric ASD and ADHD programs as well as supporting the company’s digital medicine program. She lives in Rockville, MD with her husband.
