Lisa La Luna has spent 32 years in the pharmaceutical industry initially working for Boehringer Ingelheim, Genentech and MedImmune involved in various aspects of clinical research development. The past 22 years she has specialized in services and solutions to expedite the clinical research process. Lisa helped start one of the first digital patient outcomes collections companies, PULSE, and was the first employee of Acurian (one of the Industry’s largest Patient Recruitment companies). She then helped start ePharmaSolutions, leading them to win back to back Microsoft Life Science Innovation and BioIT World awards for 3 years in a row as well as one of the first DPharm Innovation Awards.
In her current position, Lisa is responsible for the success of a Patient Recruitment Tracking and Matching Platform called iConnect that is transforming the way patient recruitment is conducted.
Her special interest and passion has been to expedite the clinical research process and bring new medical therapies to patients, particularly in Neurodegenerative disease. She is also involved in numerous organizations and advisory boards specific to CNS disease and clinical research services. Lisa has been recognized as one of the first PharmaVoice 100 Honorees. In addition, she serves on the board of the National Symphony Orchestra and is the Associate Producer of the film “Born to See”.
